  1. I can't speak for the Mammoth but I do have a Jugg 2.  It is a great looking machine - very realistic.  It is out of production and finding a nib one is usually over 500 US.  Performance out of the box ?  Very slow, poor suspension (stiff & bouncy).  Would cost some big bucks to have it perform.  Mine is a shelf queen.  I would recommend a TXT-1 just drop some mod motors in it and it will be great out of the box !  Check my showroom for ideas:

    Hope this helps.

  2. Hey Fellas FYI about Ultimate Hobbies.  They will not ship to Canada or outside the US.  They would not accept my Mastercard (because I'm International) or paypal and bluntly stated NO when I attempted to make different arrangements for payment.  [:(].

  3. I have a novak HV-Maxx brushless in my txt-1 and I am absolutely satisfied with the performance.  I also just purchased a novak xrs esc - it didn't work so I sent it to novak.  I got a new one about a week and a half later - very quick !  Plus brushless is pretty easy - no motor sprays, brushes, springs , blah blah blah and longer runtimes !

  4. hey speeedfreak, I for one am very pleased with the re-releases as I grew up with those vehicles. The problem was back then I couldn't afford them, now that I'm an adult with my own payroll it is great that I can relive those memories now that I can afford them. The vehicles of yester-year were not all meant for competition, they were a pleasure to build and great fun. I would venture to say most people on this site don't race at the competition level but enjoy these rides as a hobby. If I want to race then I'll buy a race specific chassis. If I want to feel like a kid again, I'll buy that re-release [;)].

  5. Well, I am impressed, some glorified recognition for the TC Members and the creator on Page 206 of the Feb '06 issue of RCCA. Bottom right corner of the page by Kevin Hetmanski. Oh, and also on page 27, Hetmanski answers a letter and reminds readers it was NOT a Bruiser he torched with the E-Maxx but a custom truck. See page 27, it is kind of funny what he says "You'd think I'd torched the Mona Lisa, the way some guys were crying". Wonder if he learned anything [;)].

  6. Hello all. Here is my new built Max Climber. Full bearings, locked axels, aluminum bumpers/cantilevers/servo mounts (compliments of InetRC), Futaba radio and 4 wheel steering. Right now it has the stock 540 and a Novak XRS (well as soon as Novak mails it back from repair). I really like these little things ! I wish Tamiya would get rid of those stupid window stickers and include masks, cause it was a real pain to tape these windows. How does she look ?
