Cheers mate. The paint i was going to use was Pactra as the laquer on the helmet mimicks lexan. I was then going to put a coat of laquer over the top. Im only using the helmet on a push bike.

I have now had my airbrush for about 5 months thanks to Jozza. This is my most recent body (3rd one) Now i am looking at airbrushing my new fullface bike helmet and was wondering if anyone had done this using their airbrush? If so, what was the result and what paint did you use?

Sounds ok to me. Double acting is a little bit OTT if you are just starting to learn how to airbrush.

Jozza, i need to become a full subsciber first. I went to a mini show last year and saw a mini pickup with proper, rip/tear paint work. But have no photos to show of it. Im gutted. I have asked the mini mag if they can send me some so i will see how that goes. I could always, e-mail you pics of my 2 shells if you want?

Yeah, i know its an art form. Done 2 shells now and they both look fantastic. But im looking also for pictures of ripped effect as i cannot get my head round it!

Ah cool, does that mean they are better inner tubes or non uk ones? Im looking to get a C02 pump for when on the trails and want one thats compatible, or ill get new inners.

Ive just come to inflate my tyres and found a very strange type of valve, it has a nut on it and the more you screw it off then push the valve the more it deflates. What type of pump do i need for this as my normal ones wont work?
