£45 is a little bit out of my range for a first time car. mtronic do some good looking budget ones for £20 in my local shop so i may try oe of those.

So by limit they mean a 19 turn motor will not work on a 20 limit ESC?

If an ESC has a 20 turn limit, does that mean that a 23 turn motor will not work?

Cheers guys. I have spoken to James at Fusion and he has sorted me out with good deal. I will be getting some bearing sets from Stella as they are so much cheaper than UK prices.

Yeah, Stella did say they would mark it as a low value gift. But dont really want to order 5 kits and then get screwed for 30% as it will be a fair whack.

So the best thing is a half decent ESC and a 27 turn motor. What are tamiya motors really like?

Sorry, that post was rushed. I have a FF01 Maxi 306 kit and i really want to add some real poke to it. Have got ball racers fitted but apart from that that it. Need any advice possible as i dont want to get ripped of when buying a motor.
