this is the one http://www.stellamodels.net/catalog/produc...roducts_id=1552

hi there i bought a ta 02 off stella the other day and just put rally tyres and a big motor in it !!
and for a road goin chassis it is great in sandy hardpack and power slides lovely !!
-
hi there have you "engaged" the servo from the radio ? on mine you have to move one of the trim tabs and a stick . when it is engaged you here a clunk sound ?
-
ha ha v good
-
hi m8 fantastic work
-
yer no lighs or sound ..... give it a try ?
-
hi m8 i bought all of my truck and trailer from stella models saved me buckets (when the exchange rate was better)
in uk prices , try calling sone shops and see if they will do you a deal ?
oh and you will need a 4 channel radio too

-
i have had one for years and yes they are just so different to running cars and trucks. and runs great in the weather we have just had.
-
well if it is not the radio gear you might want to but it back in but not connect any of the lights or sound
and see if that effects it ?
-
hi m8 what do you want to know i have a nitro usa 1 with a ...nice body but not mint because i cannot get hold of a new one any where
there is chromed bumpers front and rear a role cage and an air intake block sticking out the bonnet
that about it really???
-
i would take your mfu out completely and put in a normal esc with the same reciver and see what the range is like
and then try another reciver if it still does not work coss it sounds like your reciver is knacked???
-
yer i thought you were going to use planks of balsa but a sheet would make things easier to lay it on the trailer

-
hi m8 yer i have the box trailer and you can do the same with that too
i have built a trailer from scratch and the planking looks good
but if you were going to put a wooden top on the reef you could use one piece if thin ply wood and replace it with the plactic?
then score grooves in to it for a realistic look ?
-
i think you will find that your radio gear is knackered have a look at the aerial that comes out of the reciver and the transmiter to see if they are in good condition or put all of the radio gear in another car to see if it it is the mfu ?
-
hi m8 if you are talkin about the tamiya 58154 i have used optical fibres because you can have a very small light on the front and rear
i used green up front and red for the rears
-
no worries , i have not had any problems with the receiver but i am on 40 meg so that might not get as much interference
this is the kind of thing i have http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AERIAL-spring-loaded...=item1c0f7c223c
but it does not look that scale but works
and if you could change the crystals over that might work?
-
yer looks good

-
h i have an rc aerial from a boat and it is springy on the bottom so just attach the receiver wire to the base of the aeriel
and look quite scale
and regards 2.4 ghz yer i have a 3 channel and they are great but you need the whole system
and with regards the side winkers i used optical fiber for the side winkers and just connected them up to the l and r indicators
good luck with the radio
-
hi i drilled a pilot hole from the outside then pushed through the straightened paper clip , bent the end in the tyre through 90 deg
then pull the wire back out and cut it off a small way from the tyre
it looks good but i dont thing it works that well.
-
hi i have been trying out tyre / model combinations over the snowey weeks and thought about some studded tyres?
i used my tamiya f 150 with a spare set of wheels and stuck 26 pins in each of the two tyres , i then took them out onto
compacted snow and a a bit with ice aswell.
It went ok but not great although i disconnected the 4 wheel drive shaft first just to get some comparison .
-
hi m8 i have a custom trailer that i made , to transport my tank and i used hard wood planks .
and i just sanded then down for a natural look but if you were gonna varnish it i would water it down a bit
and use a matt finish . or oil it with danish oil ?
-
hi p h yer if i remember i will be there but i am back off holiday the day before
but it would be good to take the cars for a bash
-
oh and i locked the diffs so i dunno about grease but i but motor grease in there but it might be a little thick .......
-
hi m8 i used the traxxas 2.5 drive shafts , and then cut them down a little . they look like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=380117105821

hi there i would run them in series if i where you , also what are you using the additional winkers for ?
if you are usin them as side repeaters you could use optical fibres?
