  2. quote:Originally posted by Big AlYou will probably only get about $150 for it...so you should just sell it to me right now for that price! :-) Just kidding! You will make a hefty profit from this kit! Good Luck! By the way, does this hobby shop happen to have any other vintage kits for sale?? If so, which ones?? id="quote">id="quote">First of all thanks for the info. I had no Idea the Fox was that popular. I will go buy it today then. This shop has old kits and some old built cars every once and a while. I'll see if he has anything else out at the moment when I go to pick up the Fox. There is annoth hobby shop not too far that also has a bunch of older kits like a Kyosho Raider, Kyosho 4 runner, a Yokomo works 91(Dog Fighter), Tamiya Sonic Fighter, and more! His prices are almost always the original list price that is on the kit from when it was released. I'm still exploring the area for more hidden treasures. I'm sure I'll find some more. Josh
  3. Hi, Earlier tonight a ran across a hobby shop that has a NIB Tamiya Fox for about $100. I was wondering how much these kits are worth these days. If I bought it it would only be to sell. I really only collect cars/trucks that have meaning to my rc history and the Fox has never been in my past. If it's worth while I'll buy it and resell it. Thanks for any help in advance. Josh
  4. Hey guys, I'm selling my Marui Land Cruiser (blue molded body). It really doesn't fit into my vintage collection. Maybe someone here would have more connection to it than I do. This thing is in incredable condition and appears to be in almost new condition. The tires have zero wear and the isn't a scratch on it that I could find. It is a bit dusty for stitting arround for all those years but even then it's actually very clean. It seems to be missing the front part of the roll cage and the driver. It also could use a new spring to mount the front bumper (common problem from Marui). Make an offer but, please no Low ball offers. Please e-mail for pics. nsr250_sp_repsol@yahoo.com or josh.hulbert@misawa.af.mil Josh
  5. I have the AE shock bodies on my 18T. They work just fine but to tell you the truth I'm really getting sick of a the blue anodized parts.
  6. Not sure what the exact conversion it but I think it's about $100-$150. Maybe some one can help out with the GBP-USD conversion.
  7. here is an update from Fibre-Lyte: Hi Josh, if we had a template to work from the initial cost of the mould would be around GBP150.00. If enough people were willing to put down deposits the we might forego this cost. Either way each chassis would probably be about GBP80.00-100.00 Best Regards Stephen Walton BTW I think I'm going to have them extend length so it's OK to use the MIP 410L conversion as well with this chassis Unless the majority rule against it. The extra lenght would not affect the use for standard 2wd applications at all. I can't really remember but I think the 410L chassis mod is only 1/4" longer. I don't have the instructions right now so I can't say for sure.
  8. Here is the reply I got from fibre-lyte: Hi Josh, yes, we still do all the other RC10 parts, just not the moulded one. As for starting making the tub again, find out what interest there is, and if enough people are willing to put down a deposit, it may be worth our while doing some....and if we do find one lying around I will let you know. Best Regards Stephen Walton Hansell Composites Ltd Unit 3 T.Dicken ind est Station Road Stokesley Middlesbrough TS9 7AE ENGLAND Tel 0044(0)1642 713129 Fax 0044(0)1642 713577 Let's do our best to round some people up to get a small run of these things made again. This forum does not get soo much traffic so I will also try a couple other forums I'm a member on. Can some of you guys do the same. I'm going to e-mail them and see what we will be looking at ball park wise for a price.

They seemed quite suprised that some one was still asking about their chassis. He said he didn't think they had any left anywhere and didn't know if they still had the ability to make any more. I asked them in annother e-mail if they could do a limited reproduction how many would they have to have pre ordered to make it worth their time to do so. I haven't gotten a reply back yet so I'm thinking they are pondering my request. Would any of you guys be willing to pre order one if they are willing and able to make a batch for us collectors? Also thanks cant_get_right2005 for finding that info. Any chance you can scan the ad and post it?

  14. Here is a link to a pic I scanned and posted on rc10B4.com This is how the car looked after I built it way back in the day. I'm thinking this pic is from about 10 years ago. I know I got the 410L kit just before MIP decided to discontinue it if that helps at all with the time frame. http://www.rc10b4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2607
  15. Cool man thanks for looking. I was looking at RC10B4.com and look what I had found in the galleries: http://www.rc10b4.com/gallery/showphoto.ph.../sort/1/cat/500 That chasssis is just the coolest! I see fibe-lyte is still in business so I'll try to shoot them an e-mail, maybe they have a chassis or 2 laying arround yet.
