  1. I have a TEU-101BK. I also have a TT01...It really does sound like the ESC just needs configuring. Hit the switch in the ESC in neutral position on the controller, then full forward [ till the beep ] then full reverse. Vuala...If you have already done this then my apologies
  2. Personally, my fav electric buggy by tamiya is the fighter buggy...I know I know... But I had one and its more fun than most of my others.
  3. Personally I am a fan of HPI http://www.hpieurope.com/kits/index.php?lang=en
  4. thanks geezers for the tips, i think your hair dryer tip is the way forward as i posted on the HPI forum and thats what i have been told. Wish me luck... Again, thanks
  5. Ok, Ok so it's not Tamiya, and its problem...But this seemed the most appropriate available forum to post in. I am a relatively newish enthusiast and got me a HPI savage 25 RTR. I bought this to confirm to my neighbours and friends that I am indeed male. I digress...When finished putting the batts in for the receiver I attached the glow starter, turned the rotostart and alas...It started up...then died, and made a little clonk sound. Since then [ last night ] I cannot get it to start up...nothing happens. I am fairly sure it is just something I am doing wrong rather than faulty or damaged parts. I am very new to nitro cars and only have my Tamiya Electrics before this... Any suggestions? Please reply in dimwit english...My language. Many thanks - Jman
  6. I got a kit from hong kong and the guy put it as a gift and i didnt have to pay anything []
  7. Hello gents I am new to TC and relatively newish to RC. I am looking for a cheaper way to get a new HPI savage RTR (my local model shop wants £369 [] ) and it struck me that due to the strong exchange rate from £ - $ (£1 - $1.89) using an American ebay retailer distributing to the UK would prove beneficial to the wallet. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MEWA:IT This ebayer wants $105 / £55 for postage...Making the item still cheaper than me local! [^] But I heard that I will have to pay customs fees when I sign for it, if its above a certain amount. Yeah so anyway, cheers for any advice or tips anyone may have. Cheers. - Jman
