After a multi-year hiatus I'm digging out an old SRB chassis, and the ONLY thing I'm missing is one of those little pipe clamps that attach the engine cage to the roll bar... Does anyone happen to have a spare they can drop in an envelope to Amsterdam in return for a pint or two via paypal? Thanks a ton!

Subject pretty much says it all. I'd like to find some foglights, ideally those from the front bumper guard off of the Hilux Hi Lift. If you decided not to use yours, I'd be interested in picking them up for a project. Would certainly consider others as well, as long as they're realistic looking In addition, I'm looking for a set of Rough Rider/Buggy champ rims & tires. BTW, I'm located in California. Thx!

Anyone making box art bumpers, alloy cages, flat 4 engines, wheel options (centerlines, empi's, BRM's)?! I'd love to see some scaler options

Aarrghh... why can't I see that pic?!

I've one Hot Shot II & one Super Sabre, brand new in their rectangular cardboard boxes, filled with lexan joy. email me at tamiya@aparatchik.com

Yeah, someone get a pic of that sign, that would be hilarious!! No need for the Naja bug pic tho, we see those things almost daily here in California [8D]

I have a few things that really no longer fit into my collection or desires. So, rather than sell them to the highest bidder on eBay, I'd like to trade them for other fun Tamiya (and potentially non-Tamiya) RC things. Here's what I have: - Tamtech Lotus 102B Complete Set. New built, with a NIB spare body set to go with it. This is the last of about 15 NIB Tamtech F1 sets I had, which I've all sold or traded over the years. Pic available. - Technigold motor, used, but usable for a restorunner. Pic available if I can find the **** thing in the mess that is my house. - Rare blue Litesink heatsink for the first Kyosho ultima. Mounted, but never used. Pic available. Tell me what fun stuff you have to trade... I dig on body sets that are not skylines or nsx's, on m-chassis stuff, and would even consider a mini-t or something micro-ish. Post here with any enticing offers!

When did body sets switch from boxes to bags?
Dave.B replied to Dave.B's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Yeah, the box art on the early body sets was great! My 908/3 and F-2 ones are lovely to look at. I think that the move to bags will detract from the attraction for me... They're just too plainly packaged to be attractive. -
Oldguy... do you have Item #50457: RC 190E AMG Cockpit Set? If so, could you email me at tamiya@aparatchik.com with a price? thanks!

Yep, that I am aware of... It seems that Tamiya is making a move to polybags with a header card tho, similar to most other body manufacturers. Are the boxed body sets being phased out? -
A Stratos would make me giddy far beyond my years would allow... I for one could do without yet another NSX or Skyline release, lest half the catalog be taken up by iterations of these two models. What I -would- like to see is a continuation of the 60's & 70's theme that they did so effectively with the Alfa Giulia, A110 and Abarth. Gimme these, in either road or race livery: Jaguar MK II Lotus Cortina MK1 BMW 2002 Turbo Ferrari Dino 246 GT Lamborghini Miura P400S Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Ferrari 250 GTO

I'm debating a body set collection, and was just curious to know when the switch was made... Was it at a particular part #?

A humble dedication to a Tamiya fan...

I don't really ever post here, but would like to thank you (as many others have) for posting your very personal thoughts and feelings. I too have shared many RC related moments with my dad, and we continue to do so across the 6000+ miles that are currently between us. It definitely sounds like your father is a true man, and a true human. Be well, and be strong.
