  2. Hi, I have a Ron Paris tuned Picco buggy motor, mint, that I picked up from the uS of A. Does anyone know if Ron Paris is still about/alive(sorry Ron if you read this)/trading? I noticed that if you search Picco in the uS Ebay there is a load of Picco/RP bits that are being sold under the name of "Paris Racing Close Out Inventory", so was wondering..... Ferris

  9. Hi, I am looking for a c1983-84 'Model Cars' or 'Radio Race Car' mag. this mag has a blonde 'burd' on the front holding a PB Nova, think the magazines main colour is green. I have a mention a couple times inside (next years PB team) and would love to get hold of a copy. Even a photocopy/scan would ge better than 'nought' ;-) Thanks, Mark Ferris

  11. Hi, wow actually somebody who raced them! Any tips? Mine now has the (i have been told) 'works' steel hubs and a the 3rd middle diff. I have only just got it to a point of running. It handles like a dream. Anyway any info would be much appresiated. email me please. Both ran with OS engines an RFb in the 2 and RxB in the 3. Great fun cars i remember though despite the wheels falling off and thw X3 stripping the layshaft gears. id="quote">id="quote">
  12. hay just running through a purchase of a Nova (overseas so I should get it in a few weeks), and it has a full PB manual with it (full?!!) Whilst the PB manual will have zero engine help, I will pdf you a copy as soon as I get it. Maybe nice/usefull? Mark F quote:Originally posted by junkaHi, I'm hoping to resurrect the some r/c items here and have a query.. I've acquired an old PB Nova & as such everything works. I'm having problems with the engine however. It will start (sometimes straight away) and stall, or start and try rev flat out then stall or my personal fav - start and die when I touch the throttle. I've attempted to adjust the fuel settings in an attempt to get sustained running but to no avail. (made notes and returned to original positions) I've no manuals at all & from what was said it seems likely all the fuel settings have been played with - so I'm hoping some of you kind folks have a record of what the factory/recommended settings should be and can help me? To preempt (some of) the expected questions: glow plug is fine (orange/orange white), fuel is good, fuel lines not blocked (checked & cleaned), air intake filter is ok. I disconnected the rear brake so there's little drag on the engine, just in case. On occasion there is fuel sprayed up against air filter, not sure if that's usual & could be down to the over priming. Exhaust is reasonably free of unused fuel. If there's an online version of the manual I can't find it btw :/ Thanks in advance to any suggestions J. id="quote">id="quote">

  14. just keep an eye on the uS and German ebays as they always have some bits. I did see a driver the other day. uS has overalls at the moment..
  15. Hi, can anyone remeber what this buggy was called? Early 1980's, no suspension but relied on low pressure 'bouncy' tyres. It had a completly sealed gearbox/moter/drivetrain. I have just seen one on Ebay in Germany and I can remember seeing a few when I worked in a model shop at the time. The disscription in the add was a ROBBE COYOTE but I would love to find a site with more detail. sure it was a Kyosho in the uK.. Mark Ferris
  16. I have 1.5 of a X3. Plus a bunch of PB Alphas and SG Columbia's Mark Ferris
