  1. Fresh from our first outing with 3800mah 2S LiPo batteries (we were running no-brand NiMH) at a club meeting, I'm keen to price up a better/newer ride than my TB-02. As I'm on a budget, and potentially going to have to buy another one when my son sees it, I'm looking at the Sakura Zero S from RCMart as well as a budget brushless motor and ESC from hobbyking. However, it occurs to me that if we want to do more than compete against each other then my son and I should get rigs that comply with a basic racing class, just in case. I've looked at lots of the pdfs on the BRCA web site and the lists of acceptable components is extensive; it's going to take a while to figure them all out. So.... Has anyone been through this loop before? I want the lowest cost, compliant brushless motor and ESC combination that we can race between us at the club but can also compete if we want to. Ideas?
