  1. Does anyone know the number of toe-in degrees for the rear hub carriers on a Boomerang re-release? I've searched a lot and found references to them being "1 degree more" than other hubs, but nothing specific on their actual angle. I'm trying to pick up some aluminium alternatives to the plastic kit parts. I've read others saying that the front knuckles could be replaced by TA01 parts, so I'm wondering if the same is true of the rears? There are parts out there with +0.5, +1, +2 deg of toe-in, but can't seem to find what the original Boomerang parts are. Any help welcomed!
  2. Now apologies if this is in the wrong section or i'm repeating someone else's thread but I've searched and not found anything or my search words are faulty causing the search engine not to chooch. Right, the front hub on the Brat / Orv as an axle what is pressed into the hub and mine pulled out after a good hours worth of fun. I persuaded it back in with a small hammer and all seems well, but I bet it will happen again, so..... Is there any way too mod this with new hubs from another model, or is this an apparent weakness? It's actually a re-release with all these newly re-designed flaws off the old design and six months old.
  3. Has anybody noticed or come across this problem?I've recently bought an already built BMW sti on a TA02 chassis, and the rear suspension doesn't look right.I've stripped it to add steel bearings and checked everything out,I had to replace the adjustable steering links on the front as fixed/short ones were fitted and the wrong hub link arms were fitted on the rear.I'm pretty sure all the right parts are now on.I have a manual (thanks to Tamiyaclub) and a TA01 chassis to compare. What I don't like is the fact that the rear hubs touch the springs on full extension.I'll probably fit the springs outside the bottom arms TA01 style as shown in the picture with the long screws (instead of inside the bottom arm as per the manual).I'd love to hear any thoughts or solutions if I have inadvertently cocked it up ;-),thanks in advance, gary
  4. Hello TC! I'm in the process of restoring a few Foxes. I picked up two locally for a great price and figured one would be a parts car. Well one is pretty much mint so it'll be a shelf queen once I go through it, and the other is almost complete as well. I'm just missing a few parts. I know there are some Fox Fanatics on here, and I'm hoping someone can help me get these cars back in the dirt. Here are the pieces I'm in need of: C2 - Tree C Part 2 - The right side (from the driver's point of view) A arm attachment part. F5 - Tree F Part 5 - it's the little piece which inserts into the gear box for the skid plate to attach to on the underside. Hubs - I need three, but I'll take any that I could get. I have an aluminum set for my runner, but I only have one good hub for the other two cars. Hex Mounts - I ordered all that I could find on eBay, but I'm still short two. Lastly if anyone has any of the brass inserts for the gearbox or damper eyelets I could use a few of those as well. Thanks a ton TC. I may be new to the site, but I've got a lot to post up on these restos soon. Cheers
