Years ago, I restored my Turbo Optima. It's a combination of NOS parts including an Option House belt drive conversion and some solid used parts. I used an RCScrewz set also. At the time, I couldn't find a body so I used an Associated ProTech body. It came out rather nice. In order to get the body on, I used a CRP shock tower and made some body mounts from Tamiya parts. Thankfully, it's all reversible and I can reinstall the original shock tower. Since Kyosho has rereleased the Turbo Optima, I purchased a new body set, wheels and motor guard. In my excitement, I already installed the wheels. Now, the goal is to paint the body box art, reinstall the original shock tower and install the motor guard.

Hey there! Recently found an old Porsche 935 turbo r/c model still new in it's box. The box it's self is kinda beat up but everything inside is still in its packaging and untouched! I did some research on it and know it's a rare and valuable model, because of that I would rather sell it to some one who would really want it for their collection. I'm located in Boston, MA Link to a gallery for more pictures: https://goo.gl/photos/8acaVGkzTrpheocx9 You can make an offer for it here or private message me. Model has been put up for sale on Ebay! If there's anyone interested in it you can check it out here. >> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-Martini-Porsche-935-turbo-58002-/112473651042?hash=item1a2ff3b762:g:lvYAAOSwvPRZYBdL

Just a wee question re my lads Christmas present, but where do you find Hopup info? I've just built a Honda City Turbo and looking at the dampers for starters they look like an oil filled pair would be better, and is there an upgrade for the gearbox as it sounds like the diff don't sound too clever when full power is applied, so can these be modded etc?

Here's a little treat. Decided to tackle the 1977 Tour de France rallye, Eminence livery, Almeras-Fres Porsche 934 turbo. As an Art Director, I spend most of my day designing magazine and catalogues. At night, totally enjoy designing one-off Tamiya Porsche 911 sticker sets with as much realism I can. The Tamiya Porsche 934 turbo GT-01 is a great little base, the body is so detailed. With limited mods though, you have to think out of the box. Inspired by another TC'er I've bought some of the Kawada rims and some Tamiya upgrades. The photo that inspired my crazy path for this build. Based on other TC users speediness, I seem to be on the snail schedule for completing projects. Happy to report, this project has already passed up my 959 project! Research mode on, more photos...
