I have been talking to Speedy With Beans about my inability to build a ball diff without breaking them. I repeatedly seem to over-tighten my ball diffs in either my DB01 or my TB03 while they are in the car when I am adjusting them, I seem to mar and mash the thrust bearing every time and then the diff comes loose and then I have to rebuild and replace the thrust bearing and then I look for alternatives to ball diffs yet again. LOL. (viscious cycle). I am thinking of trying to find maybe a more durable direct-fit replacement for the Tamiya branded 620 thrust bearing. I know they aren't cheap and Paul found an ebay seller that has a bag of 10 labeled as Axial for $9USD which is pretty cheap by comparison. At that price, they are almost disposable. Does anybody here run a different brand? Stronger? Thanks for any replies!!
