  1. I have a transmitter and receiver that were once bound but have now stopped working together after not using for a few months. I have followed the Etronix instructions and tried numerous different combinations. Rx has bid link in, red led flashes Tx switched on holding down bind button and green led is flashing I continue to hold the bind button but it never goes solid. How do I find out if it's the transmitter or the receiver that maybe faulty? Any help would be great
  2. Took the punisher blitzer out for a late night stroll so Frank could try out his new dome light. I made it for him cause we all know what it's like to drop your phone or gun in the car and can't find it. I think he likes it! πŸ˜‚ #tamiya #tamiyarc #tamiyablitzerbeetle #tamiyasandscorcher #volkswagen #volkswagenbeetle #thepunisher
  3. I Always wanted one of these and I was on the fence of keeping it in the box or build it. Well as you can see wich one I chose. Video's of it running coming soon!
  4. (Project Punisher Beetle Udate) Meet Frank, this is the driver and his dashboard. But what I am really proud of is the chasis work I did. If only you seen it before it was like the person who had it ran it thru a oil field thats why he sold it so cheap. The body was giving to me and said I know you will do something epic with it so I took that color splash stickers off and here we are. Im just waiting for Frank's steering wheel to come and its almost done. Thanks for whoever is following this build and have taken interest in it! πŸ©ΆπŸ–€πŸ©ΆπŸ–€πŸ’€
  5. So before I start my final blitzer project I think its time I finally finish the chrome edition blitzer project but im undecided wich sports tuned would look better. This will be more a shelf queen so I don't want to put anything too crazy in it. Wich one would you choose?πŸ€”

  7. Im a huge tyco collector but fell in love with the beetle so this is my first tamiya build and won't be my last this is addictive! Thanks for the add! https://youtu.be/lo7XaeBpOcc
  8. This is my first post here and really my first 1/10 build, as I have only built a SW-10 LB Mini before. I was planning on building a full size LB after the Mini, but then I stubbled across a few pics of a Blitzer Beetle and I was hooked, the LB can wait I bought the kit online from HK as I couldn't source one locally and then spent 2 weeks devouring as many pics and vids as I could find, which is how I found this great forum I really like all the baja styles and the Sand Scorcher but for mine it had to be a Rat Rod look. Unfortunately when the kit turned up the package had taken a knock during shipping and the body was badly cracked across the roof from the rear window to the sunroof. The seller and shipping company both blamed each other and neither admitted fault so I ended up with the choice of waiting for a new body, if i could find one, or trying to patch this one up. Considering the plan was always going to be a rough matt finish I decide to repair the crack and push on. I managed to fix the body with a piece of old credit card inside, some double sided tape and super glue, lets see how it holds up. For the painting I used a Warhammer spray I had lying around, Mechanicus Standard Grey and then I used Warhammer acrylics for a wash and some stone chip effects to give it that weathered look. Everything is standard except the simple steering mod of flipped front uprights. I need to sort out the shiny motor up back, but that will wait till I get better at driving for now it feels fast enough with a 2S LiPo providing the oomph but i would like the motor to be darker coloured at least. May, not be everyones taste but I'm happy with the results so far considering its my first "proper" build, any comments welcome.
  9. Hi, Noticed this weekend that my Blitzer is running very hot Spec is: Fully Ballraced 2S LiPo M-Troniks Storm No Limit ESC Yokomo Pro Stock 14 Turn (about 20 years old) 13T steel pinion Proline Dirt Hawgs Running on a mixture of tarmac / gravel / sand. Have ran the Blitzer a few times this weekend and the motor is getting very hot, burnt myself twice on it and yesterday one of the motor wires de soldered itself it got so hot Any idea what this could be? Was under the impression that the blitzer is pretty good at hot motors, the super stock BZ I had in it barely broke a sweat but that was only 23T. Could it be a faulty motor? As mentioned above it is very old, be a shame to remove it as it is very quick with it and I don't want to go brushless just yet
