  1. Happy to pay AUD$40, posted to Melbourne, Australia. This is US$28, €24, NZD$43, CAD$37, £22. I'm feeling impatient, and this is about 30% more than it would have cost if I could be bothered to wait for any of the HK stores to have it back in stock.
  2. Hi all. New to the site and this is my first post and hope someone can help me out. I have recently bought my first ground model and chose the GF-01 Heavy Dump truck for learning with and i must say, it has been great fun and very durable. Not broken anything yet but thinking about a few upgrades now i'm happy with the controls, orientation, cornering and so on. I used to fly drones quite a bit and had some 200mw VTX's and cameras spare so have kitted Dump Truck out with an FPV system and i just say as again, sooooo much fun. I will try and get some videos posted at some point soon and will update this post. From my previous drone life, I and have the kit for charging lipo's so decided to upgrade my 5000mah NiMh battery to a Gens Ace Hard Case 2S LiPo 5500mAh 50C. Checked dimensions and will fit just right if i have got my measurements right. This should be here tomorrow and looking forward to the little bit of extra power. Also bought an upgraded servo that is the Savox SW1210SG Waterproof Metal Gear Digital Servo - 32kg - 0.13s as my steering is quite unresponsive at present with a standard carson 3kg servo and have been told the Savox 1210 servo will help greatly! I am currently running the Torque Tuned Motor and the Etronix ET0102 Probe WATERPROOF Forward + Reverse 100 Amp 15 Turn ESC (Nimh + Lipo) but looking to now upgrade to a brushless setup. Can anyone help me in the right direction of what would be the best setup to get for this. I do still want to keep the option of reverse bu hoping it will be a bit more responsive actually selecting reverse as currently if i'm going forward and pull back on throttle, the car will not go backwards right away. I have to almost go neutral first ith the throttle and then pull back to reverse. Thanks all and will catch you soon.
  3. All these will be going on ebay tomorrow evening So it's a brief chance to grab them now.....I PayPal gift please, prices inc. Free UK shipping SOLD NIB Dancing Rider T3-01 £130 NIB Heavy Metal Dump Truck Ltd.Ed GF-01 (no esc) SOLD NIB Unimog 425 CC-01 (no esc)
  4. The the gap between body and chassis is too big. You need to cut this wall. Swap the front/back racks of GF-01 Done the wall cutting. The battery lid will become obstacle of Willy's feet. Cut the white line part. And this white line area. 3 holes lower. You need to use short battery. Also use low height servo. Compare with WR-02(right side). The GF-01 with smaller gap and sexy waist makes it sporty. Painting. Change WR-02 tires (4 rear tires.) and the job is done.
  5. can anyone tell if the light buckets from either the cr-01 or cc-01 Land Cruiser 40 series body shell will fit the gf-01 shortened Land Cruiser 40 series body shell?
  6. I am making a set of body adaptors to mount Lunchbox / VW mini bus body types onto the GF-01 chassis. Had Paul form Berzerk RC in Australia made these. Will ipdate once I receive them & thebody posts.

  9. Hey guys - has anyone tried mounting a Lunchbox body on a GF-01 chassis (like the Heavy Dump)? My son loves the Lunchbox, but I want him to have something 4wd so it will be able to drive decently well in the grassy part near our house. It would probably take some custom solutions to get the body mounts to work, or maybe just go up through the top (obviously using a re-re body!) using extended versions of how I think the GF-01 bodies are meant to be mounted. Anyone tried it? Is it a bad / crazy idea? I may just build him a Heavy Dump as-is... but I think he'd get more of a kick out of a Lunchbox, but one that doesn't get stuck in wet grass.
  10. Hi Guys, I am new to the forums and have recently gotten back into RC. A couple of months ago I bought myself a Tamiya TT-01E and turned it into a drift car. Upgraded Alu. Shocks, Adjustable Suspension, fast servo. I love it. But I wanted to try something different. So last week I bought myself the Tamiya GF-01 Land Cruiser 40 Kit. I assembled it over the weekend and gave it a try. It is a blast to drive. I have been doing some research and have not found many hop-ups. I know that it shares a lot with the WR-02 chassis. Any advice on what to start with?
  11. Well, the GF-01 FJ-40 has out for a while now, I think there will be more cars coming on this chassis, so what would you like seen done with it next, or think will come in the future ? I'm thinking the most obvious one would be Mad Bull rear wheels and tires all round, and a lunch box bodyshell to make a 4x4 lunch box (although this might kill sales of the 2wd version maybe) Also I thought Wild Dagger wheels and tires all round, and a tumbling Bull (red tractor) bodyshell to top it off Other ideas ???? (Doh, should have posted this in the monster truck forum )
