Hi, first time here on the forum so go easy on me I own a lovely "Tamiya Scania R620" truck with the "MFC-03" and a "Futaba T8J" radio. Currently everything is built and connected but im struggling to find/get all functions to work. Things like "forward, backwards, selecting gear 1-2-3, start, horn, flashing lights, indicators" works fine. But when trying to get all other things to work its a hit or miss. Been reading all the manual for everything 3 times but biggest problem seems to find a function and then add/map it to a radio button. I'm going to be starting up my Scania R470 build. I've collected all the pieces I need and will start the build this week. Who knows how it will end up? Should be another fun build, that's for sure...Will be built with a 60T motor, MFU (for ease of install), and some awesome RC4WD Budd wheels! Ready to go!

After having built a few Scania R470/620s, I've decided to make a P340/380. The main difference between the R and P series in the cabin height, the R-cab, (being the premium body) is taller and offers more comfort and space. I've modified an existing R-cab to a P-cab, and converted it to a low-roof. Main visual difference is at the upper front grill. The R-cab has 3 rows of horizontal ventilation, while the P-cab has only 2 rows. Showing the 2 trucks side-by-side:
