I'm painting my first RC body shell which is a Audi Quattro A2 Rally for my upcoming TT-02 build. I was just wondering if I should paint the body after I build my TT-02 or before and also if I ream the holes before or after painting the body shell? Thanks!

Hello, This my first post on the forum. i found a member (metalheaddad) who shows a method for mixing translucid color with metal color : Check out the paint.. translucent blue and anodized silver I want to make a dark brown metallic colour with Tamiya Lexan sprays. Is it possible to do that by using the same method ? If yes, do you know what translucid colour i have to mix with which metal color ? Otherwise, do you know other lexan paint spray with this kind of colour ? My goal is to get the colour of this body (Pontiac GTO) Thank you in advance for your advices.

Hi all, Have recently returned to the hobby after 25 years or so after my wife bought me a Hornet kit for my recent birthday. Never built my own as a kid - my dad built a Schumacher Cougar for me which I took racing briefly as a young-teen. However, after building the Hornet I'm now hooked and looking at additional purchases to expand the fleet! I definitely have Blackfoot, the mkII Escort and now the newly released mkVI escort on my list for the future, but have just won a fair example of an FF02 Peugeot 306 Maxi WRC on eBay. Chassis seems in reasonable condition by all accounts (don't pick it up until this evening), but the body has seen better days - it has had a fibreglass repair to the front and is in overall 'well-used' condition. Ideally, I'd like to buy a replacement shell that will simply be a straight fit. Not concerned about it being a 306, would be happy to put something else on. I'm a bit of a Ford nut so Focus would be ideal but will consider other nice-looking alternatives (Tamiya or non-Tamiya). I've spent some time trawling through the forum, other sites and the web in general and have only found limited info (mainly old posts). Are any of you experts able to advise of any off-the-shelf and readily-available alternative shells that are a perfect fit for the FF02 chassis? Thanks in advance

SOLD I have a Maisto beetle bodyshell with LED's fitted. 2 in headlights, 2 in tail-lights and 2 in engine bay, all hooked up to batt receiver plug. Has been run and rolled, small crack in front wing, but should make invisible repair, can't see it in picture. Looking for £37 posted in U.K Link shows LED's working. http://www.tamiyaclu...=0

Hi all. I know this may sound silly, but I've actually forgotten how to remove the protective film off a polycarbonate body. I recently bought a new body shell for my Brat off of ebay, and it was a Tamiya-made one. I have of course done it before with the body that came with the kit, but I can't seem to find an edge on the body. Any help on how to do it? Thanks!
