Here is my build thread for my latest project my 1998 Williams Renault Laguna BTCC Nescafe Blend 37 bodyset. I plan on making a few changes to what I did with my 1997 bodyset and learn from my mistakes. So Mokei Kagaku was kind enough to send me a NIB bodyset, that had only been pre cut. Arrived safe and sound thanks to his great packaging skills. I decided a while ago that I was going to paint all the black details on the body from the inside using my pot of rare PC5 Black polycarbonate paint. After alot of masking I had done a few bits but being honest the masking was taking alot longer than it would be by hand, so for the window surround I ended up just free handing the paint, and luckily it turned out ok. Unfortunately thats pretty much as far as I am atm, as I am waiting on a can of PS9 Green paint to arrive from Fusion Hobbies. , my easter weekend plan was to have the body at least painted and ready for decal application, but hey ho. Anyways, here is the progress so far ..... and how it will hopefully end up ....... I plan on at least painting the yellow insert on the rear wing tomorrow and then back with silver. Also to make sure to leave that small outline for the green to cover round the edges. Fingers crossed. S thats it so far, but hopefully update thick and fast as progress is made Thanks, James.

Selling some unwanted decal sets. All are BTCC ones. Tamiya Mondeo BTCC decals set, great condition, only 1 decal missing (decal #11) and there is a small crease which can be seen in the 2nd picture . Parma Mondeo decal set and Parma Volvo 850 decal set both are brand new. Any questions feel free to ask. No idea what they are worth so I am open to offers and not looking for much as they were bought in a bulk deal with the Peugeot 406 decals I was after. Can post over seas if needed at cost, will be sent in a cardboard packed package to stop any bending of the decals. Thanks, James.

I am looking for a Kyosho Renault Laguna body, not worried about decals. Either a body or a complete car, as long as the body is un painted. As I have finally managed to get hold of a set of Carson Nescafe Blend 37 decals and a few pots of PC5 brush on black and would like to do a 1998 BTCC replica to go with my 1997 version. Having a small clear out so...... I have my Tamiya TRF416X up for sale. Chassis is in fantastic condition with only minor scuffs underneath (was raced on carpet) ball diff in the rear and spool in the front. Comes fitted with a standard servo. The top deck is showing signs of slight splitting (the edges werent glued) and the alloy servo mounts are nit there (replaced with a single plastic mount and servo tape) Chassis comes complete with its original box, white Tamiya disc wheels and Tamiya reinforced B2 slicks along with a few spare anti roll bars. The motor in the picture is not included and note that the original steering blue turnbuckles have now been fitted. Also comes with body posts and a few spares. I also have a brand new in box Kyosho Renault Laguna BTCC bodyset. Comes with original decals and body accessories along with a set of 4 Tamiya multi spoke wheels painted Tamiya Brilliant Blue (no tyres) I also have a Tamiya Super Modified 11T motor in original box (slightly taped up but tidy box) Motor can be seen in the TRF416X pic.
