  1. So, needles to say I am pretty new here but I've been taking apart my vintage Frog and was thinking about swapping out the center spring "shock" on the front end with a dual shock system. I've seen a few conversion kits out there for the Frog/Brat/etc front suspension but I figured it would a a ton cheaper to just make my own out of carbon fiber. How off base am I on this? The way I see it (and, again...I could be totally clueless here) but grabbing a sheet of carbon fiber from amazon, cutting it to my specifications and creating my own front shock tower doesn't seem like a bad idea. Any advice? Suggestions? Should I just buy something that has already been designed for this purpose? Thanks in advance.
