  1. Hi guys I ordered a Avante from RCjaz.co.uk. They provided a website (https://speedpost.hongkongpost.hk/speedpost/sections/mailTracking/mailTrackingResult.jsf) that allowed me to track my order and so I have been tracking its progress from Hong Kong. It looks like my package has arrived in the UK but the delivery status since 27/11/2019 says that it's "Held by customs". I'm totally new to all of this as it's the first time I've ever imported anything. Can anyone explain what this means and whether I need to do anything? I'm a little concerned so any help would be fully appreciated. Best regards Rod
  2. I understand that customs must check some packages on it's contents to create a level of safety. I don't understand that they're allowed to damage your goods... It's not the first time and ok, it's just a manual for now but I also have got cut up boxes, broken parts,... Does anybody else have this problem and what can you do about it? This time they cut open the enveloppe and also the manual till page 4. Fold it three times and then put it folded in a box... with the original enveloppe which says; do not bend!!!!
  3. I occasionally hear rumblings about increased customs tariffs/duties/fees for those in the UK, but wasn't aware of "Brexit": https://www.journalism.co.uk/press-releases/brexit-will-hit-british-international-shoppers-hard-with-devalued-pound-and-increased-import-taxes/s66/a620596 For the bulk of TC members in the UK -- Will this have a serious effect on your current buying habits?
