It was based on the Williams FW14 Formula One car that was used in the 1991 Formula One World Championship season. General info The FW14 features the low-height, open-wheel body design that is mostly shared with other Mini-F cars that were based on Formula One cars. The bodyshell has the non-removable driver figurine. The bodyshell is mainly in white with yellow and blue highlights. Various sponsors, including Labbtt's, elf, Bull, Canon, Good Year and Magneti Marelli, can be founded on the bodyshell. Oddly, the Camel brand logo (Which was presented on the real-life FW14) was removed. It was equipped with the gun metal, medium diameter Mini-F wheels paired with the Mini-F slick tires. Hi all, I would like to get a vintage F1, probably an F101. The goal would be to run it and use foam tires. I would also like the tires to be correct in terms of diameter and width i.e. F104 foam tires wouldn't do. My understanding is that the outside dimensions of tires are the same between an F101/2/3 although the rims and therefore the inside bore inside the tires at the front of the F101 are different. In other words, F103 wheels and tires when assembled together would fit the F101. Having asked the detailed questions above about such rare cars as these, I suppose I should have asked first: are there any members here who might still be running these beauties from the past? 😅 Is it realistic to plan on sourcing foam tires on a regular basis or are we limited to expensive NOS lucky finds? Hi everyone, I'm currently in the process of stripping down my F103RS for a rebuild - it's a 1999 Ferrari F310B (58213) and has been sat in it's box for about 19 years! It's in pretty good nick with only some o rings having perished completely and the foam tires looking cracked and hard. Bodywork needs some TLC but it's probably salvageable for bashing. I want to go to rubber vs foam as it'll get run on tarmac/car park rather than any smooth or indoor surface ... but It seems that F103 wheels and rubber slicks are very hard to come by now; so I'm wondering if it is simple to use rims and tires designed for the F104? I've looked at the manual for a F104 and it appears the thrust bearing sequence is essentially the same but it sits directly on the diff joint with the wheel rather than being built inside the wheel. Is it as simple as that? Does anyone have experience of putting F104 wheels on an F103? Many thanks in advance, Mike

Hi everyone, For sale is my Tamiya Williams FW24 (#58303) on the F201 Chassis. This is a very rare chassis and kit now and this is a lovely example. It has been used, but the chassis has just been fully rebuilt and is like new. The only part that shows some sign of use is the underside of the chassis, which has scratches. The body is a nice condition with some signs of use, but there are no cracks or splits. It really would make a lovely shelf queen or perhaps a good runner. The car has some hop-up parts too. It has full ball bearings along with a Tamiya Sport Tuned Motor and also a larger pinion. It also has Futaba ESC along with Acoms radio gear. Apart from a battery, the car is ready to run. Also included in the box is a few spare parts including some gears. I'm looking for £185 + postage (ONO)

I have a 2015 Williams Martini Racing Replica Pit Shirt. Bought from the WMR Shop in 2015. I have literally worn it twice !! And on both occasions it was for a GP distance (while watching on TV) and I also had a plain T-Shirt underneath the shirt on both occasions. Its in mint condition, comes from a smoke free home and comes with its original Hackett and WMR tags. This is identical to the 2016 Shirt, apart from not having the BT logo on the lower back area. So before it goes on Ebay, I thought I'd see if there is anyone interested here at a reduced price. Only selling as like I said its been worn twice and a bit of a waste sitting in the cupboard. Bargain at £35 posted (within the UK), will post overseas at cost. Will be sent 1st class recorded mail. -

Hello Everyone, I am the club secretary at Mendip RC Raceway in Weston Super Mare and we are planning a Tamiya Club based weekend in 2014. Dates subject to discussion. We have both an on road and off road track with full timing facilities, sit down cafe, toilet block, covered pits with electric, on site camping and plenty of car parking. We plan to have on road classes for Touring cars, Minis, F1s and anything else on road. For off road racing classes for SRBs, Wild Willys, FAVs/Wild Ones, and any other Tamiya off road 4wd & 2wd cars. After much discussion we are proposing using Tamiya silver (standard or torque tuned) or Black (sport tuned) 540 brushed motors for the event for four reasons. Most tamiya collectors already have them, they are cheap, they will keep the speeds pretty level making the racing close & competitive and the lower speeds will help protect peoples prized cars from too much damaged. All classes depend on the number of entries. On the Saturday night we will have a BBQ and night racing. As Weston Super Mare is a popular holiday destination there is no lack of B&Bs and hotels if camping is not for you as well as pubs, clubs and bars to make a weekend of it for all the family. We will also do souvenir merchandise for the event. We will also encourage a swap meet. I have already spoke with a few people on here and there seems to be a lot of interest. We are currently sorting out our diary and I will be back to publish some dates by the new year. Let me know if you would prefer a Saturday/Sunday meet or a Sunday/Bank Holiday meet if possible. Well I have decided to go a different route in my R/C fun and onto Buggies. So its time to let my limited edition F104 Pro VII Dark Titanium Edition go, and put it up for sale. The car it used and has a fair few scuff marks underneath but no actual damage. Up top everything is standard from the factory, so lots of carbon and lots of Dark Titanium coloured aluminium parts. Comes with original box and manual. Along with a whole host of spares. Set of Tamiya foam tires on silver wheels, very rough looking but loads of life left in them. Set of Tamiya foam tires on silver wheels, good overall condition with red Pirrelli sidewall decals applied. Set of kit standard Tamiya rubber tyres on silver mesh wheels, good condition loads of life left with white Pirrelli decals applied. Set of Tamiya Optional Soft rear tyres and Standard Front tires on silver mesh wheels, brand new and fitted to the chassis along with yellow Pirrelli sidewall decals. Extra Aluminium Damper. F1 front spring set Various Spur gears Pinion gear Steering servo fitted NIP F104 front arms NIP F104 rear wing set It also comes with a Tamiya Ferrari F2012 bodyset fitted. It has been built and painted by myself to a good standard, not perfect by any means, but certainly looks the part on display or when being run. Bodyset and wings are in very good condition. Pictures can be seen in my showroom of the chassis and the Bodyset. Postage to the UK only, and due to postage costs I am looking for £110 ono for the whole lot posted by 1st class recorded mail. Hey guys I was hoping someone with some F1 / F103 expertise might be able to help me out here. I'm trying to rebuild my Sauber C12 F103 chassis car and I'm having trouble with the last piece which is the shock ./ dampner in the rear of the car. I'm missing some pieces and I can't figure out which parts bag they are in. Can anyone help me out here? I've attached some pics. I have the friction plate and the shock itself. I am missing the metal pole that goes trough the friction plate and the necessary bolts and washers. see pics. Thanks for the help!
