  1. My youngest son and I are building a Grasshopper Candy Green Edition with a speed tuned motor that he chose, and As we pause building for the night, I have a few questions: 1.) What is the circle hole in the chassis for? The directions have you cut it out, but it appears to have no use. Placing the receiver there seems to make the most sense, but if there a problem with covering it with the receiver? 2.) None of my 7.2v 5000maH NiMH batteries fit in this car. What is the maximum length of battery that can be quasi-easily inserted and removed when using a standard sized waterproof, metal geared, digital servo (that send to get in the way of larger batteries)?
  2. With the much anticipated 'Hopper' build on the horizon...I have been hooked on the tube watching ..... various vids of the legendary 'Hopper' with the 540 motor fitted....I have a spare Tamiya Torque tuned knocking about....I was gonna drop her the build from the off...but no quiet worried it could be a bit much for the 'old gal' should I bin that idea and go with a standard 540 can ? 😳
  3. My version of the Comical Grasshopper or comical rough rider?
  4. Hi all! Fast question 50 EUR for a Grasshoppar from 1980, is that a decent price? it's in rough condition.
