My father in law to be came round today with a Midnight pumpkin that he was given (bonus), he had asked me to look at it as it wasn't working. He had plugged the ESC into the receiver the wrong way round so I swapped that around and the motor whizzed round but the wheels did nothing. I thought the pinion had come loose so was going to remove the motor, then noticed the motor was loose but decided to remove it anyway. Just as well I did as the gearbox had no grease in it at all. I split the gearbox and greased all the gears and re-fitted the motor, and it spun the wheels no problem. Next problem I spotted was the front suspension, the lower arms were the wrong way round, left and right were right and left so swapped them around and the uprights were also wrong so the tie-rods were infront of the suspension. Two of the tyres were facing the wrong way, and the ESC was set to racing mode with no reverse. All sorted out now but I noticed he was missing one of the little brass bushings in the front dampers (BD5) and also the hexagonal mount(BB5) screw that holds the battery clip shut. The parts he needs are in two seperate screw bags and his wife(my gf's mother, so I know how he feels) wont let him buy both the bags just to get these two parts. Does anyone have these parts spare?, of course I will pay for the parts and for postage. Thanks wolfdog. I have bolded the important part in case you don't want to read the whole story. Edit, I have found the little brass bush (BD5) in my spares so don't need that anymore.
