  1. Since I set it up, this thread has gone through some Evolution It started out as a hopped up TB-02 which was built as a TB-02R That left so many spare parts from the kit that, with a few additions, I was able to build a complete TB-02 And the TB-02R was so close to becoming an Evo, that I started keeping an eye open for Evo III parts and after a couple of job lots and lucky finds I ended up with everything I needed for a complete Evo III So, this one is about how a cheap kit find can turn into an expensive but hugely enjoyable three car journey.... The project started out as a brand new unbuilt Carrera GT TB-02 that I picked up cheap about a year ago... ...which I'm going to convert into a TB-02R using parts I've been sourcing ever since, and then a few further upgrades from the back pages of the R Manual
  2. Body: (prepainted)Killerbody Lancia Delta Group A Rally, with Killerbody light kit. Magnetic stealth body post kit. Chassis: Pretty standard TB02, a few blue aluminium parts, and sway bar set. I bought a carbon effect Kamtec TT01 chassis/dust cover which fits my chassis perfectly after trimming. Wheels: Tamiya Lancia Delta wheels tyres and inserts. Electrics: Arrowmax 13.5t sensored brushless motor Turnigy Trackstar 60a sensored ESC Turnigy Trackstar TS-D99X steering servo Setup: Yellow(hard) rear springs Red(soft) front springs yellow(medium) sway bars, front and rear. I'll sort out the toe, camber etc when I give it a proper run. I've only taken it for a very short run on the street but it handles very well, I think I have the suspension setup just right. It's quite heavy with the lights, alloy, and hard plastic dust cover. This gives it realistc looking handling.
  3. This box of goodies is a very meaningful upgrade for your vintage tourer. Also comes with universal driveshafts! I gained over a second a lap after fitting the same kit to my TA04. 50 quid posted (some ebay sellers are asking for 117!!!)
  4. Hi Clubsters,I've just purchased a pretty large job lot of genuine, bagged,Tamiya spares. After taking what I need there are many bits and pieces left, particularly for the NDF-01,TT-01,TB02 and a small amount of other parts including a couple of TL-01 chassis. If you need any parts for these models let me know and I'll see if I have it.I'll go on to list what's left on eBay but before I do I'd like to help any members out if possible, all the best, gary
