  1. Here is my build thread for my latest project my 1998 Williams Renault Laguna BTCC Nescafe Blend 37 bodyset. I plan on making a few changes to what I did with my 1997 bodyset and learn from my mistakes. So Mokei Kagaku was kind enough to send me a NIB bodyset, that had only been pre cut. Arrived safe and sound thanks to his great packaging skills. I decided a while ago that I was going to paint all the black details on the body from the inside using my pot of rare PC5 Black polycarbonate paint. After alot of masking I had done a few bits but being honest the masking was taking alot longer than it would be by hand, so for the window surround I ended up just free handing the paint, and luckily it turned out ok. Unfortunately thats pretty much as far as I am atm, as I am waiting on a can of PS9 Green paint to arrive from Fusion Hobbies. , my easter weekend plan was to have the body at least painted and ready for decal application, but hey ho. Anyways, here is the progress so far ..... and how it will hopefully end up ....... I plan on at least painting the yellow insert on the rear wing tomorrow and then back with silver. Also to make sure to leave that small outline for the green to cover round the edges. Fingers crossed. S thats it so far, but hopefully update thick and fast as progress is made Thanks, James.
  2. Well I was pointed in the direction of this site by one of my club mates. The car used to belong to my Dad, sort of still does in a way, it was on his possession before I was born, so it's roughly 38 years old. So in the late 90s, we recommissioned the car and ran it a local club. Sadly as with racing a breakage of course occurred. The car then was mothballed and donated the motor mount and rear axle for a school project. Fast forward to a week or so ago I dug the car out and started looking for parts. It certainly needs most of it.
  3. Hi everyone, For sale is my Tamiya Williams FW24 (#58303) on the F201 Chassis. This is a very rare chassis and kit now and this is a lovely example. It has been used, but the chassis has just been fully rebuilt and is like new. The only part that shows some sign of use is the underside of the chassis, which has scratches. The body is a nice condition with some signs of use, but there are no cracks or splits. It really would make a lovely shelf queen or perhaps a good runner. The car has some hop-up parts too. It has full ball bearings along with a Tamiya Sport Tuned Motor and also a larger pinion. It also has Futaba ESC along with Acoms radio gear. Apart from a battery, the car is ready to run. Also included in the box is a few spare parts including some gears. I'm looking for £185 + postage (ONO)
  4. I have a 2015 Williams Martini Racing Replica Pit Shirt. Bought from the WMR Shop in 2015. I have literally worn it twice !! And on both occasions it was for a GP distance (while watching on TV) and I also had a plain T-Shirt underneath the shirt on both occasions. Its in mint condition, comes from a smoke free home and comes with its original Hackett and WMR tags. This is identical to the 2016 Shirt, apart from not having the BT logo on the lower back area. So before it goes on Ebay, I thought I'd see if there is anyone interested here at a reduced price. Only selling as like I said its been worn twice and a bit of a waste sitting in the cupboard. Bargain at £35 posted (within the UK), will post overseas at cost. Will be sent 1st class recorded mail.
