Any chance of getting some more downloads stuff on the site,

How about having wallpaper for each of the Award winners?

Or perhaps a place to put tamiya mods for PC driving games etc?

Its been an area I've meaning to expand for a while - I've got another couple of screen savers nearly done and ready to go. And I'm also working on some wallpapers too.

Just for you Balmy I've added a new item to the downloads section. It early days for it, it runs best at 1024 x768 and unless you have a decent processor it'll probably run like a dog.[xx(]

After that top sales pitch its there for those that ever wondered what 'Tamiyaclub.com' would look like to Neo from the Matrix... (ok thats just a small group of you [;)])

Just out of interest, can we do a quick straw poll on what resolutions people have thier monitors set too. It'll help for the wallpaper/schemes I'm working on.

Cheers

I run 1280x1024, looks like it is getting more and more common. So I would love a screensaver with this resolution.

But I received a complaint from a member, who had a problem with my wide signature, I guess he was running around 800x600. You got my sympathy pal!

According to the Nielson web stats - 800 x 600 is still the most common setting, although 1024 x 768 is rapidly gaining ground. A large part of the reason for this is it is the default setting for most prepacked systems and a huge amount of users never realise you can change it[8)]

All the screen savers I produce should un at any resolution, its just some of them will look thier best at 1024 x 768.

I run my laptop at 1400 x 1050

And I always thought I was far behind with my previous XGA-Res.(1024x768). Unbelievable Chris, but in principle I must agree, I even meet people who do not know it. When you explain this to others, then they look at you like a being from outer space. I do not talk much about computers anymore when I get to know new people, they simply think you know everything about PC's, and when you work in a Help Center like I did, you get allergic to PC-problems in your private environment.

The worst thing nowadays with laptops and TFT monitors is, that many people dont run them at their natural resolution, which leads to horribly non-sharp views, even at PC shops I have seen it, not a good advertismement to such a monitors [;)][B)]
