Thank you for the offer, was actually was hoping of changing from original Clodbuster red to yellow. Can live with the red but just wondered if painting them was a big deal, I assumed the paint would scratch off but would be nice if it didn't lol.

Use Halfords car paint, they are more durable (but not invincible) than typical Tamiya paint. Bake it at 60C to dry.

Stock Tamiya Bullhead shocks come in yellow and are identical to stock Clod shocks. Paint would likely rub off over time on the bodies themselves. Clod shocks are nylon based so they do take dye well but being red already, black would probably the only color you could effectively fully go to.

As @Saito2 said, they wouldn't hold up to paint well, but dyeing them black will work. I 've painted the stock Clod springs black a few times before and they hold up great, look a lot better as well.
