Shodog - A Legend

Another thank-you to the mods, as I probably would not have known without a pin either. As many have said, such a terrible loss and my condolences to his family and all who knew him personally. Shodog's vehicles always had a distinction that was clearly his. You knew from first glance who's they were and didn't have a single doubt they were more impressive in person. Exceptional talent and tremendous knowledge that inspired so many of us over the years.

Has this thread served it’s purpose ?

Everyone is obviously entitled to pay their respects 

But the reason I’ve not contributed until now is because I knew the guy fairly well + this is becoming a painful reminder 

Moving onto separate threads - maybe drawing on all he did ? - might be healthier for all 👍

Have been absent for quite a while.

Totally gutted just saw this - unbelievable to realise Jim has left the building .

Many fond conversations with him over the years both of us mad bikers we would often talk motorbikes.

Everybody has a favourite from Jim’s collection - for me it was the Rothmans Rough Rider.

Just WoW sad really sad news !

I totally agree with you. I think it would be best to allow this post to find its own place. Unpinning rather than locking it would IMHO be the best action.

Such inspirational contributions........I remember when the F150 High lift first came out and he was so enthusiastic about the build.

Just saw this thread for the first time, almost a year late as I was away for a while. Horrible to read that Shodog has passed.

Yeah it really is. We used to spend many a night hanging out in his garage messing with the cars. I miss him.

I made a little video when I was with his son talking about him and some of his cars. Glad to see the care and talent for his passion didn't skip a generation.
