Having just built a motorised model, I have to say they are worth maybe 1% of that price. It sucks at being a static model and sucks at being a moving model as well. Think that's why Tamiya stopped making them.

Got one just last night worth mentioning.  i listed an out of the box but otherwise new Axial Ryft + a couple of desired hop-ups yesterday at a buy it now of $450.  Got an offer shortly after the listing started for $300 ☹️

These are often dealers hoping you are desperate and they can make a couple of quid

I did screw eBay yesterday which was nice for a change.

Guy DMed me about some wheels, said he wanted to pick em up in person.    Did the deal at a gas station cash, offline, but used eBay as the means to get the buyer.

He wanted me to use venmo, or cash app.   I just refuse to use multiple online platforms or apps to take cash.   paypal or get lost.  i got enough apps on my phone.

5 hundo in my pocket for my vacation.
