It runs, but not as it should do.

Recommended Posts

Well, where to begin, have built a tt-02d, all good, installed a Quicrun 1060 Esc and a flysky receiver bound to a GT3B, it all binds fine but somehow the throttle is on the wheel and the steering is on the trigger, most certainly not the way round I would like it.

Have tried a couple of things, making sure trims are set to neutral and all that, making sure nothing is reversed but still to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As @Losi XXT-CR said, check that the ESC is plugged into CH 2 and servo into CH 1. If for some very strange reason don't work, switch them.

1000%

And I can understand the confusion; I initially thought that the esc, which powers the receiver, would naturally belong on channel 1, but it doesn't.

Channel 1 in most (if not all) ground receivers is meant for steering, and channel 2 is meant for the speed control unit.

Apparently, even though I had tried it round that way and it had done nothing last night it decided to work with the plugs swapped, maybe it was user error maybe it was just the gremlins playing a pre-christmas prank on me, now it works, thank you all.

In the old days, the RX was powered not by CH2 but through a red plug into the BATT socket. 😁

And a big pack with 4 x AA batteries in it.
