So I've seen a few builds of Lunchboxes and WR02s and GF01s and whatnot with these cool fat slicks. I think I need a set or two. Link please, somebody?

How do they performe?

On Tarmac i think they will work fine, but on Grass or Gravel i think they will have no Grip at all.

Yes, they are for tarmac only, really. The benefit is that they LACK of grip on that surface, reducing the grip-roll that can occur with powerful motors on top heavy rigs (I run mine on a WR-02 Comical). So you get cracking speed, but not much of a turning circle when on the throttle. Reduce throttle and they will bite and let you turn properly.

You go nowhere fast on very mud or grass, but some loose gravel can be fun once you get speed up.

It's the R31 House Formula Kart Slick tire. Part number is R31B023.

Here is a link to Tamico

Ad here to Rcmart

I got mine from RCMart per above link.  They grip well for on road driving as others have posted.  I tried it on one set, but I don't run their inserts.

I only run standard/Torque/Sport Tuned 540's on my comicals as my driving space is tight.

I’ve got them on my GF01 with torque tuned engine and even on grass I’ve found them OK as long as I don’t use the inserts.

Yeah, I don't care how they perform on anything but asphalt or concrete. I mostly want them for the looks anyway.

You’re good to go then, assuming you can find some. Good luck!

Hi. Does anyone know whether the R31  House Formula slicks will fit a Monster Beetle rim please. Is it the same tyre and rim combo as the lunchbox..?

Posted

Nope. Lunchbox/Pumpkin/WW2 wheels are smaller. You need standard 2.2 inch tires for Monster Beetle wheels. You might be able to stretch these on, but you'd probably mess up the pad-printed white letters trying.

Hi

Would the R31 House Kart tires and wheels fit on a Konghead?

As long as they sport 12mm hex, yes. Rim/tire size of Konghead/King Yellow ist the same as the Lunchbox/Pumpkin.

The WW2 shares it rear wheels with the KH, the tyres are all the same.

The LB tyres are the same as well for the WW2 and KH, just different rear wheel fitment, between the LB and WW2.
