A challenge to the webmaster(s)!

Do you think it's possible to make it so you can send a instant personal message, to someone that is in the "Members Online" list?

I have missed this function many times. I know some web sites has this function.

My idea is that you could click on the members name, and a little window like the one you send emails to fellow TC members pop up.

Then you could just type a message.

easy enough but not high on my list as all you are talking about is changing the system from two clicks (click on name, then click on "email a question link") to one.

The question is whether more people want to email a member by clicking on a link, or view that persons details and showroom. By making it quicker for one you make it slower for the other. The way it is at the moment, makes it fairly easy for both.

Chris I think he wants a system that allows a message to be sent to a member not via email but via a private message(pm) held on the server. We have this on another forum I am on, and must admit it is quite handy sometimes, and you would still have the normal email option the way you have just mentioned.
