Nikko Jumping Car

Recommended Posts

When putting the Christmas decorations back into the loft today I spotted my youngest son's old RC car.

It's a Nikko Jumping Car and is around 20 years old. It's in very good condition and is complete, including instructions, apart from the charger. It has a Nicad battery pack which probably won't be any good after all this time but I will try charging it with my balance charger. If no good I will see if I can get a modern replacement that will fit and give it a run.

Nice one, I always wanted one as a kid, but never had the funds.

If you do get it running (I would recommend a modern 9.6 V NiMH pack) please do take a video. There is almost nothing on these online, despite selling well at the time.

Amazing! My brother used to have one of these and spent many hours jumping stuff in our back garden! Always remember it used to be quite quick and jumped really well. Enjoy!
