Tamiya recently released the great Audi Quattro Rally in 1/10 TT-02 flavor (something existing in their 1/24 catalogue) so one can dream on they porting other cars to 1/10 RC!

I somehow knew waiting for a MK1 Escort from Tamiya was a lost cause so lucky L & L do them, but what would really float my boat is one of these…

I would say probably on an M chassis.

From Lamborghini a LM-002 and Urus on CC-01 and a Huracan on TA-08 or TC-01. From Bugatti a Veyron on TA-08 or TC-01. From Opel a GT and Manta A on M-08. A Lamborghini Estoque and Bugatti Galibier on a new chassis. Nothing new on another TT-02 :D

I'd love to see a Hyundai Veloster/Elantra/I20 N, which should be feasible since they already have the license, having put some Hyundai WRC cars in the Mini 4wd line. Something a little more outlandish I'd absolutely love to see is a Saab of some sort, preferably a 900 or 9-3 of some sort.

I could think of a few.

Lovely old MkII Jag

Rally car? The legendary 555 1996 Scooby (Not Tamiya)

Always liked Tamiyas 635 Racing model, stickers maybe a nightmare though

Since they seem to be on a "classic" kick with the M-chassis, here's my wish list. (not cluttering up the thread with photos, look 'em up if you don't know what they look like)

MGB GT (ideally '68-71 so I can make a replica of my car)

VW Scirocco Mk1

Lancia Fulvia (M05 RA is crying out for this body)

Renault 8 Gordini

Hillman Imp

Porsche 914

Fiat 131 Rally (they already do this in 1/20 scale, should be easy)

Toyota MR2 (AW11)

Great thread and already some beautiful cars!

I would like to see on a 1/10 scale chassis ( without the battery holder sticking out underneath the chassis!!!)

I’d love to see a 6R4 no Picture I’m afraid but a proper mentalist car!

My real vote would go for the RS200 there was one in our local Ford garage for sale when I was a kid and used to drool over it whenever we went in there with my dad, it appears his cars where in the garage a lot, I spent a long time as a child back in the early 80’s aged 7 maybe 8 trying to convince him to swap his bog  standard 2.0GL Sierra estate for a 2.8 4x4 Ghia estate and later a 2.9 one, he wasn’t buying it, and now as an adult I kind of get lol the reasons why, apparently money doesn’t grow on trees!

We also spent a long time in the Fiat dealer, that also dealt in Lancias they had a huge amount of Integrales sitting in the showroom and some beautiful rally prepped Evo versions as well, the garage name was John Whalley, I believe both he and I presume his father where both rally drivers, although I’ve moved away from my home town now I believe John Whalley garage is still going strong looking after those Lancias and one of the few people that do the Evo conversion from LHD to RHD, I never realised at the time how lucky I was to get dragged round all those garages with my dad, he had zero interest as far as I remember in the cars, but as a child seeing row upon row of integrales, Evos and RS200's, anything from that crazy time would suit me.

At some point I’ll get my act together and build an XV01 Lancia with an EVO yellow road going shell!

Apologies for the rambling but bought back so many memories!

-Audi Quattro S1

-Peugeot 205 Tubo 16

Winner.   Love to do a 1/10th Cobra.   Take my money, Tamiya!

I would love to see a Talbot rally car, especially the Samba

...and of course a Tamiya 1/10 version of the Miura would be wonderful
