Ford Pantera

This would indeed be great, and if possible in '79 Gr.5 flavor!

I've got the 1/24 DeTomaso Pantera GTS kit from Fujimi but haven't had time to build it.

I've a few more on my wish list but because of the tobacco sponsor ban it'll never happen! (Not with Tamiya anyway).

All great suggestions. I do hope that some of the automakers (BMW/Ferrari) stop their greed on licensing fees. It’s truly a shame to not have access to Minis, M3s etc.

Fortunately they do have active licensing with FCA, VW Audi, Mercedes, Ford and the Japanese brands.  They have been on a Ford kick lately.. I’d like to see a new Porsche however.. the last new body was a 997 series in 2008. This is a long time to go without a fresh Porsche. So hopefully a 992 series GT3 will be out soon.

What I definitely have no interest is in another Japanese grocery shopper 🤦🏻

Those could be fun to dress up in rally livery, though. Cause in rally, if you can cage it, you can race it!

Speaking of which, any kind of rallyesque hatch that can cover a buggy footprint would be cool. Wouldn't be scale so they'd never do it, but having a rally car set on an actual off-road capable chassis would be fun for a change.

Barring all that, a TD4 shell that isn't funny looking.

Strong agree with people that said the DeTomaso Pantera and Lancia Montecarlo Group 5 Turbo.

There was an HPI body of the Pantera, I still have one.  The Montecarlo too, Killerbody unfortunately distorted it a lot to fit a 190mm touring car, it's proportions lend itself to a pancar.  That said Killerbody did an okay job of adapting the Lancia Stratos Turbo (silhouette, not the standard Stratos) to a 190mm touring car.

I saw a few cars mentioned here that have been done by Kyosho in the past, I would love to have a Ferrari 330 P3/4, 250 GTO, and a 10th scale 288 GTO (especially the Evoluzione version!!!).

I was watching an interview with Gordon Murray on the new GMA T.33, that would make an excellent body too.

The Monaro, the Falcon sedan and Falcon coupe. The unholy trinity of movie cars.

Here you go. No idea if it will fit though

Yes, I know that one. I would like to see one with Tamiyas grade of detail. The one from the link looks a bit strange depending on the angle of view.

Has anyone suggested this already? Take notice it has four doors so it's not a nomad.

please dont scare me like that... i almost thought it was Christine.  id be wary about having a red 58 plymouth fury body nearby, you never know if it will move on its own...
