Trowa Jakuard 63 Posted January 28, 2022 Like I said, I'm working on making my TD4 into a track racer. So far, I've moved the battery and servo positions, changed the body mounts for a race body, and mounting a fan inside the cooling scoop. changing over to TRF Big Bores all around and going to be running 13.5 brushless.
isomer1 175 Posted January 28, 2022 Looks good Trowa. Are those the TD4 hop-up servo mounts? Looking forward to seeing the body you choose.
Trowa Jakuard 63 Posted January 28, 2022 Those are indeed the TD4 hop up servo mounts in the holes I believe the TD2 will use

Are you using a transverse battery? The reason I ask is I thought if you used the stock shaped servo mounts it would move the servo to far across to fit the battery? Yes Sir. the stock kit includes the battery holders the transverse mounted TD2 will use, all that's needed are 4x 9805886

Trowa Jakuard 63 Posted January 28, 2022 (edited) I'm actually gonna look at what we have at work for light weight bodies and find one that will fit nicely. I work at an RC distributor that has it's own outdoors track. Edited January 28, 2022 by Trowa Jakuard Clarity

Superluminal 3750 Posted February 6, 2022 Bigbores Almost a shame to have inboard suspension when fitting them. Suppose it stops them getting dirty
