Well I built a Dyna Storm Jr. A kyosho SR-5 F-1 car, scored more bits to complete my Big Wig, All I need now is the bumper, got the body painted for my Sonic Fighter (new built), got the rest of the parts for my Bear Hawk (new built) ordered, started to build my 'Blue Frog' and Clodia, my mutant clod crawler.

Whew!

I built and converted a Mercedes 1850L tamiya truck to an army canvas backed version.

Not quite what tamiya designed it for,,,, he hee[]

Looks better than a blue delivery truck anyway !

Once we can pay our subs, I'll upload to my showroom[]

Nearly finished my Mini Cooper Racing, and built an indoor track for our *****ar-G cars. And we went to the Tamiya Euro final at Snetterton too.

Hmm where to start...

I've spend well over $833 on 4 cars in the last fourtnight (3 off Ebay and 1 from a fellow TC member) the cars being an Avante, King Cab, Kyosho RV Nissan Pathfinder and SG Coyote...

I've repaired the faulty transmission on my Bruiser which had lost 2nd & 3rd gears with an extensive strip, clean and rebuild, I've made an interesting Hybrid truck using a knackered old Bush Devil Body and the spare Bandai Mad Wolf chassis to make a TAMDAI WILD WOLF and I've rebuilt a runnable AYK Radiant from 1 complete car and the remains of another and a load of spares (still has some teething problems though)

oh course the next item on the agender is the Summer drive at Clumber next sunday....

I finaly finished my Pajero crawler by fitting a motor from a 18 volt drill. This involved trimming some of the chassis away. It now goes about 5mph but is unstoppable.

I had a trade with someone and got a Kyosho (sorry) Landmax with a few problems, I sorted the problems and have spent most of the TC break getting it sideways on the local park/supermarket car park.

Much fun, but glad to be back

I unfortuanely hace had to leave the R/C hobby. I had to find some dosh to buy a car so something had to go....

Well I was busy racing last weekend at the Eurocup finals at Snetterton where I turned in a mediocre result of 10th in the A final for the stock class after qualifiying 7th. I drove really well all weekend but the cars are all so close so if you get taken out [!] it is very hard to make the time up on the track. Ho hum better luck next year but I have some great Tamiya momentos from the meeting including my trophy, pass, cap, keyring, 5x1700 7.2v scr's and a large Tamiya banner (dont tell anyone about that last one though !). I also met Jaguar F1 driver Justin Wilson and he signed my Rothmans 911 [] but he didnt pick it to win concourse [V]. All in all it was a great experience and my good friend Jon Winter won the GT class for Great Britain and gets the ticket to Japan to race in the World final in November. I will hopefully get to go along with him and try and blag a tour of the Tamiya factory [] then buy some cheap re-issue body sets []

OH NO! I've really let the side down here. I got so bored at work I signed up to an online Dating thing, been typing my little butt off to bored office girls. Diaries full for for rest of month though not done bad! better stop before it spirals out of control (more!) Couple of new cars though, moved house and sailed the boat from Portsmouth to Portugal via France & Spain FANTASTIC!!! took a right kicking in the bay of biscay though, 3 days & 3 nights with force 7 gusting 8 winds for 30 hours SCARY![:0]

Glad to see all you guys here again, better start taking pics for showroom![]

Not too much to report, but have been collecting bits to complete my Brat and Mu projects - thanks to Azazal, Jim Sourbeck & Sjoerd amongst others. Also had a (Tamiya-free [V]) holiday in France which was good fun. Glad to have TC back [8D] - nice one Chris.

Used Frog. Good base for resto [:I]

Used Audi A4 [!] Pretty dissapointed with this one. Said it had been run 4 times. I think one of those included under a truck. Body is knackered at the front. Anyone have a NIB body?

I actually got a lot of work done at work. I am sure my manager was happy about that. for R/C projects i mainly worked on my Kyosho scorpion. I mounted my Thorp aluminum wing. Painted and polished the body and got the roll cage ready for some Chrome Paint. But the biggest thing I did was purchase an Inifniti G35 car.

Well, finally got the parts to fix the diff on the Fox. Won a new-in-box TB-01 WRC Lancer VI for $56 on eBay. Been looking for a good deal on one seeing how Tommi Makinen is retirering this year, and Tamiya always made an effort to produce the Rally cars with his name and sponsors, so I figured it was time to get one…and the price was right… I also learned that after hundreds of internet transactions, I finally got ripped off… A guy by the name of Mike Glaub; eBay aka mike12340_6… Some people are just so petty…
