Hi,

Prob a bit of a noob question(!) but I have a 'new' DT02 currently running a tamiya tble-04s. Now the strange thing is that the rubber protective cover seems to be too 'tight' against the on/off switch and hence the switch won't stay on for more than about 10 seconds. I have had it apart and back together again as per instructions but it's still the same. With the cover off the on/off switch has a positive action / click (and stays on!) but with the cover fitted you can tell it's stretched over the on/off switch and hence the switch no longer feels positive action and won't stay on...

Thinking about binning the rubber cover (part no hc-6275013) but before I do is this common? any tips?

Have you taken the face plate off which the tbl02 and tbl-04 comes with? (Ie if you undo the black screws in the on off switch, there’s the black rectangular plastic cover with “on” and “off” embossed onto it, which fits over the switch, holding it all together). I always chuck those, as on a Tamiya kit the switch screws onto the chassis - so the top plate isn‘t needed. Should save a couple of mm which might help?
