TRF201 / DN01 Body

Hi All

I've been putting together a parts build TRF201

Only major issue remaining is finding a body to fit. I've tried ordering standard 201 bodies from various UK stores but had no luck (201XM and 201XMW bodies are available though are the wrong size/shape) 

Anyone got ideas for alternatives? I can't find anyone selling a DN01 body or a standard 201. Any ideas on another choice that might fit? I've been told that the sand viper body might be a goer and possibly the Kyosho RB5 - but has anyone actually tried this or know of a shell that definitely fits - or even better knows somewhere to source an original TRF201 boy (or DN01?)

Just as an FYI: For anyone attempting a 201 parts build - don't do it! The steering rack posts/parts are impossible to source - I've had to use parts from a Yokomo YZ2 and even they were hard to get hold of.... Other parts are extremely challenging as well at the mo (E.G correct length CVDs)

RB5 bodies will fit. I had a Team Azarashi Quracca on my TRF201 and that was fof an RB5. As for Tamiya bodies, both the Sand Viper and Desert Gator fit.

Thanks matey - but I don't think this will fit a standard 201. Looks like it will only fit the versions with the motor in front of the rear axle?

Yeah, that's for the mid motor versions only
