Reversing a Servo?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

soon i will get  Y-Servo-Cables to get a dual Servosetting in my Bullhead and a G6-01.

I don`t remeber how i did it with my Clodbuster (ad do not have the model here at home).

If the Car got "Crabsteering", can i just change the red and the black cable that is mounted into the Plug??

No, you would need to find a servo reverser, they are sold as separate little electronics modules. Changing the power leads would just stop the servo from working, worst case scenario it would blow the servo.

As sosidge suggests, get a servo-reversing Y cable - you can find them on ebay, usually sold as being suitable for aeroplane flaps for example (ie. one goes up when the other goes down). They typically have a small PCD in heat-shrink, with three cables - a male plug for the receiver, and two female plugs to connect each of your servos to.
