Yep JRacings wheels are really good and Tamiya/Schumacher tires seems to fit well. I used some of their product for my last rebuild (Bear Hawk).

And prices are decent.

The thing is with 2.2 inches wheels, there is no dampening anymore on the tires and on those chassis, it's just increasing their own willing to go anywhere the rc driver doesn't want the car to go :-D

But, hey, it's a lot of fun :)

Schumacher as suggested by Goudar. There are loads of patterns and compounds to try out. Yellow is offen Ok rear. For the front I use silver. But I allways drive on low grip surfaces.

Personally I prefer Kyosho Scorpion wheels with Scorpion medium rear tires and Schumacher Cut Stagger low profile silver up front. Then you get dampening from the rear tires and superb grip. To mount the Kyosho rim you need either the serration ring from the Scorpion or the wheel adapter from Ampro. If the diameter of the Optima wheels are the same as the Scorpion then they are an option with hex fitment.

Thanks ive picked the Jc Wild One 2.2"

Next question which tamiya tyres will fit .. boomerang rears ??

Boomerang rears won’t fit, they are 2”. Something like Tamiya Dual block if you want Tamiya tyres, otherwise any modern 2.2 from Schumacher, Proline, AKA etc will fit
