Since getting back in to Tamiya just a few months ago I've started building a small collection of Tamiya drivers and heads. I've used one in my Egress and have kept others for potential future builds.

But the offical Tamiya choices are limited and I wondered if there are any other off-the-shelf scale alternatives?

Also, I know there are less realistic options available such as Pez heads that fit quite well. What else are people using?

I use PEZ Heads from the super Mario Franchise in my Hornets and Grasshopper. Also a Hello Kitty PEZ Head in my daughters Mad Bull.

Soon i will try Simpsons figures in my King Yellow 1:18

I think there are a lot of alternatives in the Toyshop, just take a Tamiyahead and compare it to the Acionfigures.

Also there are 3D Prints on Thingiverse and you can put your own Heads toghether from Clay or so.

Big-head DragonBall Z figures from the $1 dollar store, then used some foamclay to make their torso on top of their tiny bodies.

I would like some of the Peanuts (you know Snoopy, Linus, Woodstock and the rest of the gang) but haven't found them yet...

Oh yes, that would be great. Snoopy in his Red Baron look would be good…
