Show me your Wild Willys please.

Recommended Posts

I’m after inspiration please to build my WW2.

I’ve seen a couple on Google images that are getting my interest - and I’ve remember I have a small number of hop ups kicking around in my spares.

So please show me your version and tell me the best hop ups you’ve got!

BTW- I’ve got some comical shocks, steel pinion, wheelie bar and some TL 01 stainless steel shafts, set of GF01 wheels, alloy servo stays and various motors hiding somewhere 😂

Very cool. I saw one very similar to that (but not as finished) on Instagram. It had a Porco Rosso scheme and pilot. Amazing stuff. All from a drinks bottle too!

Actually I have a NIB WW2 myself too.. not sure if I would ever build it but nice to have.

@Grumpy pants My other one looks like this..  not much of an inspiration as I did it in box art..     I'm more a GF01 guy unless M38.

Very, very nice love those Potenza tyres as well.

They look cool on everything I’ve seen them on 👍

My wife suggested blue last night as it’s my favourite colour, she specifically mentioned the BMW Estirol blue as that’s my favourite blue.

Your WW2 looks fantastic as well 👍

I used Metallic Blue, with Pearl Clear over the top

Sabula Tech 1/12 Corvette body, 3D printed engine, Parma Hemi Coupe exhaust pipes, and Pro-Line no-prep drag wheels and tires.

(This is an old photo, though; it now wears those Bridgestone slicks on the stock WW2 wheels.)
