A remote controlled person

Out of interest, has anyone ever made 1/10 scale car with working steering wheel and pedals for the throttle - and then made a 1/10 remote control person who then controls the pedals and wheel, with arms that turn the wheel and a foot that controls the throttle; which could be a mechanical speed control or some kind of variable switch linked to an ESC.

I mean it would literally be pointless, but it would be quite cool. To swap transmitter you'd put the 1/10 person into different cars and bolt in.

Sounds interesting. But I think the realization of the motion sequence needed for steering is too complicated. Even more if the if the "driver" should be interchangeable from one car to another. But it would be cool.

For a second there, I was thinking about my son because I’m teaching him how to drive (real car).   He follows my commands and thankfully he has not hit anything yet..    Quite glitchy at times..
