2022 TA-02 build with a little bit of tuning ;)

Recommended Posts

I could add two more Hop-Ups to this chassis ^_^

From an overkill hopped-up FF-01 (see thread), I got some nice parts:

The 53226 Touring Car Aluminium Front Hub Carriers...

... and the 53189 4WD Touring Car Rear Stabilizer Set went into this chassis:

I just replaced the 3D-printed parts with the metal ones.

I really like the look of this chassis:

I went for the 69 teeth spur in combination with a 23 teeth pinion for a final ration of 7.31:1.

Hi @wtcc5 - please can you confirm which holes you used on the motor mount, given your 23T pinion and 69T spur combo?  I ask because, as well as a TT01E build, I also have a(nother) TA02 build on the way, so am just pulling together parts now.  Thanks!

That's brilliant, thanks for confirming @wtcc5.  From the chart it looks like I'll need a 25T pinion positioned in 20T mount hole to run the 69T spur with a Sport Tuned motor...will get the pinion ordered now.  Thanks again.
