Hi all,

Before I start, I just want to say a massive thank you to the wealth of knowledge contributed to this forum. I've been lurking and soaking it all in for a little while, its very appreciated.

This should hopefully be a super quick one for you vets on here. I have the DT03 Neo which came with the (54567) CVA oil shocks but after a tumble, a front shock cap 'eye hole' has split and does not hold onto the shock tower screw any longer. As I can't seem to find the caps for the CVA shocks being sold separately - does anyone know whether I can use the shock caps from the DF03 Y parts? (0225073/10225073) I feel like its a no after looking at the "The Buggy Damper Thread" and so If not, could I get some advice on a replacement/upgrade please?

Thanks

Yes, those y parts are exactly what you need.

The front body is a fairly standard touring car shock dating back to TA01 or before. so the parts should be easily found from many kits.

the df03 W parts for front dampers 50599 should work, the number you gave is Y parts rear shock parts, they are bigger body and won’t work on the front shocks.

Failing that, Xv01 Q parts 19225056 should also work.
