Alpine A110 Jagermeister 1973 M-06 - Color

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone -

I am interested in the Alpine A110 Jagermeister 1973 M-06 and was wondering just out of curiosity if anyone knew what paint is used for the orange color in the pics on the internet?  I find it pretty cool!

thanks!

I would say it's the same colour as on the other Jägermeister cars of Tamiya PS-62 Pure Orange. But as the manual is not available yet, it is not confirmed.

@Lunchy Tamiya's Jagermeister BMW M3 calls for PS-7 Orange (manual link below):

I have built this car and indeed I used PS-7.

I also have a Jagermeister Alfa Romeo 155 (bought it XB, so pre-painted at Tamiya's factory) and it has the same color as the BMW.

Not sure if the Alpine would call for the same color, but I would guess so.

Edit: Found this earlier post here at Tamiya club, comparing PS-7 with PS-62 (includes picture):

I have a feeling that's PS-62 Pure Orange used in PSU Jagermeister Prinz TT.  I think it's a recent addition to the PS spray paint line.  (My kitchen has fluorescent lights, so the photo is a bit washed out. On the other hand, PS-07 should be more like tomato red)
