The Defender body that came with my new CC02 has a weird seam. I can’t decide if it’s a flaw.

Here is the seam, running down the center of my caliper case:

Across the window:

The seam is perfectly symmetrical and is in the lexan (not the overspray film).  If I didn’t know better (???), I’d say it’s supposed to be there, but I’m not sure why.

Any thoughts?  Is this seam supposed to be there?  Did I get a bad body?

Yeah, my Land Cruiser bodies have that too and once painted it doesn't really bother me either.

All polycarbonate bodies seem to have them to some extent. Some are less obtrusive due to the body shape. They do fade when painted but annoyingly they never quite disappear 😢

Look forward to seeing it built. At last a decent scale Landy with the correct driveline.
