WTB FAV Battery Door.

Looking for one of these please.

Ideally black and in the UK for a runner so nice condition preferred but it does not need to be new.

Would a Wild One be FRP plate and mounting stuff be any good, or do you specifically want the FAV bits ?

I feel like the FAV is a better option to keep some of dirt out and is less of a faff when swapping batteries than the WO.

You’ve run both @MadInventor what’s your view on this?

Well, I have the Wild One plate spare as I bought it to replace the original FAV door on my FAV, which I've now reverted to stock to sell. I was using 3S LiPos in mine which were a completely different shape to a normal 2S battery, and so the WO option was easier to get the batteries in and out (Just pull one body pin). But the FAV door would indeed keep more goop out and give the battery more protection. I ran my FAV almost entirely in dry, dusty conditions, so didn't need to worry too much about the ingress of mud or grass cuttings. Also, the WO option is  a bit lighter, which is always good for performance.

I’m going to hold out for a FAV battery door as I’ve got the WO FRO plate anyway, I’ll eventually move over to LiPo when I get round to it as I’ve got a pair of 2s stored away. 
 

Hopefully both your very nice runners have been sold now.

Nah, not yet. I think no-one wants to travel to pick them up (Which is fair enough, but I don't really want to post them either..... ) Plus, people have got kids to feed and cars to run and everything is getting more expensive now.......

I think you’re right on the postage and the cost of living.

It cost me £1.79 a litre of diesel again today - that’s £118 to fill up the family wagon which I filled up only last Tuesday....

Yep , fuel prices are a complete con , and they were supposed to be dropping the price , well they did for about a week then it's on the up again .
