Thanks for posting this, it's really useful to know.

In my previous career (Management Consulting) I racked up hundreds of thousands of airmiles/miles/Avios with all the flying but in recent years I've burnt through them and have less collection opportunities so this is a good one.

That’s good stuff.  I don’t do Aliexpress but I’m in the USA so have United Airline miles (I believe I can use for ANA and other Star Alliance carriers as well), but I also use Amazon Visa for almost all our purchases and I get points every month that I can use towards all sorts of things sold on Amazon. 

Wife and I use those points for buying boring house necessities… like today I will be ordering new OXO toilet brushes.. lol
