Tamiya Mini-Cooper Colours

Recommended Posts

I want to paint my Mini-Cooper in the standard BMC colours of Tweed Gray and white roof.

I see from the instructions there are a number of Grays! which one would be closest

The only grey Tamiya PS colour that come to my mind would be PS-23 Corsa Grey. But its got a greenish touch. Maybe you should have a look at other manufacturers for  polycarbonate colours, maybe airbrush. If you are talking about a static kit I can't help you unfortunately.

Can you list out the grays and the brand in the instructions and I will look up equivalent colors.

You wasn't too clear on what you are painting so I am assuming you are painting a RC body shell so wanting PS spray or at least something that will stick.

Unfortunately there are no PS equivalent that exists but Vallejo through an airbrush will work on a PC shell.

3rd on the list.

4th on the list.

XF-56 is a strange one and is hard to advise on it.

The last two don't seem to exist in any modelling paint, are they real car paint codes?
